2013 Festival Vendors

The following is a current list of participating vendors:

Lester's BBQ
The moment you walk in the door at Lester's you'll enjoy the aroma of wood smoke mingling with the smell of good food being made right here in our kitchen. That's because we make all our barbecue sauces, side dishes and desserts from scratch. It tastes like home cookin' because it is!
There's only one way to cook real Southern Barbecue…Low and Slow. Slow cooking at low temperatures for long periods of time keeps the meat moist, tender and full of natural flavor. But before we start smokin' we put on a "rub". It's our own blend of seasonings and spices. Then we use hickory wood trucked up from Virginia to give our ribs, brisket, chicken and pork a subtle smoky flavor.

Annette's Soul Food & Catering
As a child growing up in Boston's inner city I vividly recall the wonderful food and smells that emanated from my grandma Estelle Sampson's kitchen. My fondest memories are watching Grandma Sampson make her buttery yeast rolls, the lightest & flakiest waffles and biscuits, and the moist double chocolate layer cake- all from scratch. Grandma proved you can prepare hardy, filling meals on a shoestring. She used what was in the cupboard to whip up a meal fit for a king or queen. That's what soul food is all about. It's about working with the ingredients you got and making that food with love. Annette's Soul Food is made with love and it's apparent with each bite. The mouth watering crispy fried chicken, award winning baby back ribs, baked mac n cheese, savory collard greens, scrumptious sweet potato pie and award winning apple pie are just of the few delicacies you need to try!

Energy Smoothie
Our focus is on creating great, healthy alternatives to soda, candies and fatty foods offered to kids and spectators at events. Our recipes are filled with real fruit and B12 vitamins and no sugar additives. We're raising thousands of dollars for kids programs. We participate in cancer events, suicide prevention, make a wish and other fund raising programs. " Healthy Energy Never tasted So good"
